Whatever your skiing desires, an Alta pro will tailor the private time to you, family and friends. A Half-Day private lesson provides high-quality guided practice on a variety of terrain, helping you retain new skills. Advanced reservations are highly recommended.

Pairing of students is not provided by MTPR for Semi-Private lessons and must be registered at the same time. Please refer to the Swim Lesson Timeline on the Swim Lesson web page the for registration dates of each session.
Thank you for your interest in participating in Private Swim Lessons at the YMCA. At this time, we are unable to offer more sessions. We are constrained by pool space and staff availability. Once we get to a point where we are able to offer more private lessons, we will re-open this program for waitlist registration.

One-on-one instruction is the most effective way to boost your skills, and we offer private lessons for all ages and abilities that focus on alpine skiing, telemark skiing, snowboarding, and race training.

The Adult Group lessons meet slopeside at the South Ridge Base Area. From the South Ridge Base Lodge, proceed toward the slopes and make a right turn. The SnowSports School is in the buildings on the right, adult lessons meet on snow near the fire pit.
Reservations may be changed or canceled up until midnight on the night prior to your lesson by using our Easy Change Form. Should you need to cancel or change your reservation on the day of your lesson, please contact us at 207-824-5959.
Yes, all children's and adult programming do not include a lift ticket, with the exception of the Adult First Experience lessons. Lift tickets are required to participate. Buy lift tickets online in advance and save.
Our Essential Eligibility Criteria for skiers and riders taking lessons at Sunday River SnowSports School may help you determine whether the student's needs can be met best through a group lesson, a private lesson, or an adaptive lesson. All guests are welcome and important at the Sunday River SnowSports School. Our goal is to provide a professional level of care and service for the best possible experience for all.The Essential Eligibility Criteria (EEC) below outlines the essential eligibility standards that are required for ALL guests to participate in ski and snowboard lessons, group or private, at the Sunday River Resort. Adaptive lessons at the Sunday River Ski Resort are conducted by Maine Adaptive Sports and Recreation and may be subject to different EEC's. The purpose of the EEC is to give our Team Members, our students, and their families the information they need to make an accurate, objective assessment when deciding if an individual's abilities are appropriate for a lesson format. Specifically, the EEC assists in the determination of whether or not a student:
In order to participate in a ski or snowboard lesson, a student must meet a basic level of physical and cognitive abilities. For some individuals, the basic level of function can be achieved with additional assistance or other reasonable accommodation.
The EEC listed below specify the most basic functions necessary to allow for the safe participation in a ski or snowboard lesson. Although this list is intended to be comprehensive, there may be situations and variables that do not appear below and there are many different situations (such as weather, crowds, group dynamics, etc.) that make it impossible to list every form in which inclusion may take place. Therefore, this list is not inclusive, and Sunday River Resort reserves the right to determine additional criteria at any time.
Learn to swim or master the sport. Swim lessons provide you with personal attention from our experienced swim instructors who coach you through fundamental, intermediate or advanced skills based your individual needs. Private Swim Lessons are an experience designed to help you reach your specific goals and progress at your own pace, while fitting within your daily routine. We work with you to schedule lessons based on your availability and the availability of our aquatic facilities. So, whether you are a beginner or an advanced level swimmer, explore the potential to develop your physical health and well-being with the expertise of our aquatic professionals.
Adult 2 (Experienced Beginner): For those who have completed Adult 1 (or a comparable level) and are comfortable in water up to 9 feet deep. The lesson will focus on improving efficiency and endurance in freestyle and backstroke. This course is a 30 minute lesson.
Adult 3 (Intermediate): Work on the finer points of freestyle and backstroke. Also learn basic techniques for breaststroke, elementary backstroke, treading water, and butterfly. Must be able to swim 25 yards continuously with side breathing. This course is a 60 minute lesson.
Adult 4 (Advanced): For those who have completed Adult 3 (or a comparable level) and are looking to use swimming as a training tool. This level is for those who are looking to refine their competitive strokes and build up their endurance and speed. This course is a 60 minute lesson.

Select from a number of options based on your availability, commitment and schedule. Take a test drive. You can purchase your first lesson at our base rate and later convert to a package to lock in the better rate. All lessons include use of clubs and balls.
Would you prefer the company of a friend, family or co-worker? Our instructors are used to working with students with varying skill levels. This lesson format is for two golfers who would like to learn or improve their golf game but might differ in their abilities. You register both students. The Academy does not pair individuals. All lessons include use of clubs and balls.
Lessons may be refunded or rescheduled without charge ONLY if the PlayDCGolf Academy is contacted 24 hours BEFORE scheduled lesson. If the scheduled lesson is cancelled by the customer WITHIN 24 hours, there will be a $25 cancellation fee per 30-minute lesson. So, rescheduling a 30-minute lesson will cost $25 and rescheduling a 1-hour lesson will cost $50. Cancellation fees are so we can compensate our instructors regardless of last minute changes. East Potomac Lessons are held rain or shine all year-round, including on-course playing lessons. If severe, unsafe weather, our Academy team may elect to cancel or reschedule lessons. In this case, they will notify you by email or phone.
Take the fast track in improving your skills on the mountain and have the ultimate learning experience. A private lesson with a Telluride instructor will take your ability to the next level with individual learning and feedback. Choose your instructor, what you want to improve, what terrain you want to cover, and at what pace you want to progress.
Spend half of a day (AM 9am-12pm or PM 1-4pm) with an instructor to learn the sport or advance your skills. Our small class sizes will ensure you receive plenty of personal attention. Please note that high level (Blue, Double Blue, and Black) classes will explore both groomed and ungroomed terrain due to the terrain available here in Telluride. You may purchase the lesson only or build a lesson package that includes lift access and rental equipment.
Telluride Ski Resort Cubs Camp Nursery offers full day child care (8:30am-4pm), morning child care (8:30am-12:30pm) and a one-hour private cub lesson (typically taught between the hours of 9am-12:30pm). The Cubs lesson can be paired with a full or half day of childcare, or the lesson alone. The Cubs lesson is reserved in addition to the childcare day.
At Gunstock Mountain Resort, our private lessons are focused completely on you and your needs. Our instructors will help you with whatever your learning goal is, whether it's starting out strong as a beginner, pushing past a learning plateau, or fine tuning your skills in racing, freestyle, moguls, and glades.
Let's get you up and riding! This package is for skiers and riders in the beginner/novice zone. Includes a 2-hour private lesson, rental equipment, and a lower mountain lift ticket (Wonder Carpet, Penny and Ramrod chairlifts).
